An incredible now-British species with its origin on the East coast of America, these hard shelled Centurion Clams are now an abundant fishery in the UK, yet we export almost all of them. The largest of which grow to over 250g each. More rich and mineraly in flavour than the slightly sweeter vanilla or surf clam, these clams are amazing to bake or turn into Clams Casino. Important though, give them a good wash in salt water when you come to cook them.
