Sardines

Without doubt, the humble British sardine is one of the most underrated species within our beautifully diverse waters. Not only are they incredibly sustainable, but they are magnificently tasty and healthy. Like a mackerel, they go brilliantly under a grill with plenty of chilli, garlic and lemon. A 5 minute dinner with a balsamic rocket salad. Delicious.
